2020 is over, It's been both challenging and busy for us in equal parts. We’ve been able to adapt to a new way of working and with that have been able to supply a range of clients with lives that they wouldn’t otherwise have been able to have. The biggest to note was a multi-cam feed every Thursday for 13 weeks for the Martin Lewis Money Show, for MediaSat and their client MultiStory Media ( part of ITV ) this went on to win a TV choice award (more about it here https://www.tvbeurope.com/live-production/case-study-keeping-the-martin-lewis-money-show-on-air-during-covid )
The later part of the year saw our OB van go to a new owner ( Links Broadcast ) and changed into a KU uplink van.This was replaced with a bigger van to give us more working space and technical capacity. This new van for 2021 has the capability of 4 LiveU feeds, multiple comms channels, Graphics, recording and 4 channels of replay as well as a host of other kit.
We’re looking forward to a busy 2021 where hopefully we’ll be able to interact more with crew than we’ve been able to before. Our new setup will help with this allowing us to unlock options not available before.
2020 has shown many of our clients what new technology is out there and the alternatives that can be supplied.
